Possibilities & limitations
One SP-ICE-3 card can control two scanners, but with certain limitations, which can be visualised effectively in SP-ICE-3 User's Manual chapter 8.1 Position Data Flow:

E.g.
- both scanners will execute the exact same job/command list
- both scanners can have only a common process transformation
- each scanner can have its own field transformation
- each scanner can have its own correction file and calibration, but must be of the exact same field size *
*Because, although you can have two correction files on the card, one for each scanner, the scanner configuration provides only 1 common parameter for the field-size

Hence, feasibility depends heavily on what exactly should each scanner mark; in specific, what would be the differences between what the two scanners will be marking.
NOTE that dual scanner marking is data protocol -dependent:

- Two 2-axis scanners can be controlled only per SL2
- Two 2-axis or 3-axis can be controlled per RL3
